There will be something for everyone at the two-day Bastille 2013 event. If you love good food and wine and you are an enthusiast, you will enjoy the French food market where you will find a wide range of quality regional produce, but not only limited to France.  Food & wine Tastings are also planned to whet your appetite and bring you a new experience. Culture-buffs and Francophiles will enjoy the French Theatre, and the whole family, especially the younger ones, will love the fun events like snail racing, the tennis and a whole host of exciting activities provided by Decathlon and our other sponsors.

"We want it (The Bastille Day Festival) to become an established community event - but not just for the French – we want it to encompass everybody"  Frederic Kayrouz (Bastille Day Reading co-founder)

In addition to the events in Forbury Gardens, we are working in partnership with selected local shops, restaurants, bars and clubs to offer discounts on their products and services to anyone wearing a Bastille Reading 2013 wristband. These can be purchased on the day at the Bastille Day Reading 2013 Stand or in advance by clicking the button below.

We look forward to seeing you at Bastille Day Festival 2013 !
